Stephen McPeake

Stephen McPeake - President & CEO
Steve has been employed with North Coast Community Homes since 1985 and is the first and only Executive Director of the organization. He has 29 years experience in nonprofit residential management and development. Prior to joining North Coast Community Homes, he was the Executive Director of Hope Homes, Inc., a nonprofit organization which owned and managed a statewide network of group homes for individuals with mental retardation. He was also employed by the Ohio Department of Mental Retardation as the District Manager of the Akron-Canton five county district office. He currently serves on the Boards of several nonprofit organizations for persons with disabilities and was a member of the Leadership Cleveland Class of 2000. Steve received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Scranton and a Master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling from Kent State University.


William Bray

Willliam Bray - Chief Operating Officer
Bill joined North Coast Community Homes in 1988. He is responsible for acquiring properties, assisting in the design of buildings and providing construction oversight and property management for all projects. Bill has 29 years experience in services to individuals with mental retardation. Prior to coming to NCCH, he served as Director of Residential Services for the Lake County Board of Mental Retardation and was also Director of Staff Development at Warrensville Development Center. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Kent State University and a Master of Business Administration in Labor and Human Relations at Cleveland State University.





Barbara S. Rosenthal

Barbara S. Rosenthal -Vice President of Resource Development
Barbara began working with North Coast Community Homes in 1998. She is responsible for all fund-raising and communication activities, with the goal of creating alternative revenue sources to achieve the mission of the organization. Prior to joining NCCH, she served for five years as Vice President of Resource Development for the Center for Families and Children in Cleveland, Ohio. Previously, Barbara practiced law as an attorney
with Baker & Hostetler. She has also been a partner in her own family business, has served and continues to serve on many national, state and local boards, including United Jewish Communities, HIAS, American ORT, The National Jewish Data Bank, The Jewish Community Federation of Cleveland, the American Jewish Committee, ideastream and Cleveland Reads. Prior board memberships include PHS Mt. Sinai Health Care System, United Way Services, Women’s American ORT, the Cleveland Ballet, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency and the Community Relations Board of the City of Cleveland, to mention a few. Barbara received her Bachelor of Economics from Wellesley College and a law degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.




Michelle Marshall

Michelle Marshall - Chief Financial Officer
Michelle joined North Coast Community Homes as Chief Financial Officer and works part time. She also works part time at the ASPCA. Michelle is a 1992 graduate of Baldwin-Wallace College with a BA in Business Administration and a 1998 graduate of John Carroll University’s MBA program. She has extensive experience in property management, construction and not-for-profit accounting. She is a former officer in the Construction Financial Management Association and is currently a member of the Institute of Management Accountants
