More than 400 people gathered at St. Vitus Church in Cleveland on Sunday, April 13, for a dinner benefiting North Coast Community Homes. The event was co-sponsored by the parish's Altar Society and Holy Name Society, and by the St. Vitus KSKJ Lodge # 25 Matching Funds Program. Thank you so much to all who attended!!

The Finleys' Kilimanjaro Climb
Board Chair Pat Finley and his 79 year-old father Tom climbed the tallest freestanding mountain in the world in June 2014! They selected NCCH as their charity of choice. Learn about their journey and support their climb here or click on the picture below.

June 16 - 3,000 ft. Moshi, Tanzania. Leaving Kilimanjaro National Park and then drive to hotel for a shower and the first night in a bed after sleeping on the mountain for eight nights.

June 15 - 10,500 ft. Father's Day descent to Mweka Camp. Oxygen is plentiful now and the mountain rises majestically in the distance. A mountain Tom Sr. and Pat have conquered!!
June 14 - 19,341 ft. Nine hours of climibing to Uhuru Peak. Mt. Kilimanjaro summit. Descend to Barafu Camp.
June 13 - 14,950 ft. Barafu Camp after an uphill trek
June 12 - 13,200 ft. Barranco Wall climb and Karanga Camp
June 11 - 13,000 ft. Barranco Camp. Today they climb to 15,000 ft for lunch to acclimatize to the thin air. They then descend to stay at Barranco Camp. Tomorrow they do the very difficult Barranco Wall Climb.
June 10 - Moir Hut and campground 13,650 ft.
