The goal of NCCH is to provide safe, comfortable housing for all our tenants where they can live as independently as their disability allows.
North Coast Community Homes (NCCH) develops community based housing. In our rental properties, up to four people can live in the home provided by NCCH. Group Homes can have a minimum of 5 individuals. In Summit County the homes we provide are in multi-family apartment buildings for the people we serve in this county are individuals diagnosed with severe mental illness and they typically live in individual apartments.
Community based housing enables persons with disabilities to live just like anyone else -- in their own community, in their own neighborhood. They can go to work during the week, enjoy leisure time acitivities on the weekends and receive more personalized supervision and care provided by various social service agencies.
Currently, NCCH has a total of 187 properties for 928 tenants in the Ohio counties of Cuyahoga, Lake, Stark and Summit. For details on the location of these properties, please consult the table below:
