New Volunteer Coordinator
After 7 years, Mary R. Powell retired as Coordinator of Volunteers for North Coast Community Homes (NCCH). Allison Quinn has been engaged as Development Associate for NCCH and her duties include those of Volunteer Coordinator.
Allison became acquainted with NCCH by attending an Annual Meeting and then by participating in activities hosted by North Coast Neighbors, the volunteer group of North Coast Community Homes. She served as volunteer at our golf outing and also at the Tenant Picnic. Her interest in helping people and being a more hands on manager led her to accept the position at NCCH.
She is now planning for this year’s Reverse Raffle and Auction, the Tenant Picnic and many other volunteer activities and she invites you to become involved too.
Volunteer Activities Planned for 2008 will include:
- Exhibiting at the 66th Human Services Institute on March 23rd in Cleveland
- Exhibiting at the Resource Fair for Families of Children with Disabilities on April 10th in Solon
- Chico’s Wardrobe Event at Crocker Park in Westlake on May 3rd.
- Thirteenth Annual North Coast Community Homes Golf Classic at Kirtland Country Club on July 14th
- Tenant Picnic on September 21st at St. Sava’s Picnic Grounds in Parma
- Sixth Reverse Raffle and Auction on November 1st at St. Michael’s
- Woodside Party Center in Broadview Heights
- North Coast Community Homes Annual Meeting on December 2nd at Windows On The River in Cleveland
