Holiday Gift Certificates
Give truly meaningful gifts this holiday season. Gift certificates are available for purchase that represent a donation of needed items for North Coast Community Homes properties:
- One bag of ice melt for a home for individuals with mental retardation, $20 donation
- One gallon of interior paint to refresh a bedroom in a NCCH home, $30 donation
- One personal hand held shower head appliance, $39 donation
- One garbage disposal for a NCCH home, $90
- or, make a donation, in any amount you choose, in the honor of special relatives, friends, business associates.
These special gifts may be purchased on-line by clicking here, or by calling 216-662-1880 and asking for Janet, or by attending the Second Annual Community Gift Mart Event at the Stark County Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities at the Whipple-Dale Centre, 2950 Whipple Avenue, NW in Canton on Saturday, December 3rd from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. A pre-sale event will also be held at the Whipple-Dale Centre on Friday, December 2nd from Noon to 6 p.m. in case you cannot attend on December 3rd.
On December 3rd, at the Whipple-Dale Centre, many other nonprofit organizations will also be present and seasonal music, holiday entertainment, refreshments, gift wrapping, “Make It and Take It” activities for children, and door prizes will be available.
Certificates may be purchased by anyone, not just individuals who live in Stark County.
Last year, a young boy was asked by a vendor why he was at the event and he said, “I want to buy something with meaning and not something someone will put in a closet!” You are invited to share in this wonderful spirit of generosity and holiday gift giving.
