One Club Run

The One Club Run is a motocycle tradition begun by 5 eastside Cleveland motorcycle riders in 1991. Each motorcyclist/participant meets at a starting point and rides through the scenic countryside of northeast Ohio with one golf club strapped to his/her motorcycle. The ride ends up at a selected area Golf Course where each participant then plays nine holes of golf with the golf club that he/she brought for the day. At the end of play, everyone gathers for a light dinner.
Thanks to one of the originators of this idea, who is a Trustee of North Coast Community Homes (NCCH), the outing this year became a benefit for North Coast Community Homes.
On September 16th a few hardy motorcyclists rode their cycles, in somewhat inclement weather, to the Orchard Hills Country Club in Chesterland. Here they met up with several non-riders and play commenced. Everyone had a great time and at the end of the day, this new fundraiser raised approximately $6,500 for the mission of NCCH.
If you are interested in participating in this event next year, send us an email (info@ncch.org) so we can put your name on the invitation list.
