VOLUNTEERS MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
Two groups of enthusiastic and energetic volunteers helped the NCCH Landscape Department.
In March, on a cold, rainy/snowy day, a group of young people from Church of the Savior in Cleveland Heights, supervised by Brian Broadbent, raked, spread mulch, and cleaned the yard at a home owned and maintained by North Coast Community Homes (NCCH). Even though the weather was less than perfect, nothing dampened the volunteer spirit of this group. After their work was done, North Coast Neighbors treated them to refreshments to thank them for a job well done!
In September, NCCH was pleased to be a recipient of Key Bank’s annual “Neighbors Make A Difference Day” volunteer project. A group of willing workers helped to beautify the landscape of one of NCCH’s west side homes. Thank You! You did make a difference.
Please join us for a fun day of gardening at one of our homes. You will rake, trim bushes, till the soil and plant flowers for about 2 to 4 hours.
Volunteers are asked to bring their own garden gloves, but all the tools and plants will be provided by NCCH. Refreshments will be served.
If you or your group is interested in volunteering at one of our homes to help with landscaping projects, please call 216-662-1880 to schedule your event. We guarantee that you will have fun and feel good about yourself!
