Disability Housing Network Seminar

On Monday, April 9, 2007, the Disability Housing Network (DHN), the Ohio Housing Network for Persons with Disabilities, is conducting a seminar, at the Franklin County Board of MR/DD, 2879 Johnstown Road, Columbus, OH 43219. The seminar will start at 9:30 a.m. and adjourn before 4:00 p.m.

The seminar will consist of the following:

9:30 a.m.	Registration
10:00 a.m.	“There Was A Tragic Fire -- What Next?” Pat Rafter, CEO, Creative Housing, Inc. (Columbus)
11:00 a.m.	“Behavior Design Considerations -- What to Do and What Not to Do When You Have Difficult Tenants” Bill Bray, Director of Maintenance, North Coast Community Homes, Inc. (Cleveland)
12:00 noon	Lunch (a box lunch will be provided)
12:30 p.m.	“The Challenges and Benefits of Multi-County Operations” Pat Maynard, CEO, The Resident Home Corporation (Cincinnati)
1:45 p.m.	“Management Contracts with County Boards of MR/DD” Panel of Housing Corporation Representatives and Superintendents of County Boards
2:45 p.m.	“A Maintenance Primer -- Developing a Checklist and Implementing a System” Panel of Maintenance Personnel from Housing Corporations
3:45 - 4:00 p.m.	Wrap-Up
