The Reverend Dr. Otis Moss was the keynote speaker at the 2009 Annual Meeting of North Coast Community Homes. He spoke movingly about “Mental Illness: A Family and A Community Affair”. He was also honored as the 2009 Community Service Award winner in recognition of his position as one of America’s most influential leaders. Reverend Moss has been actively involved in advocating for civic and human rights and on social justice issues for the majority of his adult life.

Ian and Gloria Abrams were recognized as the 2009 Above & Beyond award winners in recognition of their continuing support of the mission of North Coast Community Homes. Ian has been a Trustee of North Coast Community Homes for the past five years, and he and Gloria continue to give of themselves in every way to support the work of the agency.
