Dennis Burnside and Daniel Fashimpaur Selected to Lead NCCH Board

North Coast Community Homes welcomed Dennis Burnside and Daniel Fashimpaur in leadership roles to the board of trustees during January’s meeting.

Burnside, who has been a member of the board since 2004, was named Chairperson. As President at Juniper Solutions, Burnside brings business success, and focus on community, to NCCH. He will serve as Chairperson through 2024.

Fashimpaur will take on the leadership role of Secretary/Treasurer. Having served on the board since 2017, Fashimpaur is the Global Treasurer at Momentive Technologies. As Secretary/Treasurer of NCCH, Fashimpaur will also chair the Finance Committee.

Chris West, President and CEO at NCCH offers, “As we move into 2022, our mission to provide a stable, safe and supportive environment for our residents is our number one priority. Dennis and Dan will provide the leadership that also supports the organizations efforts to build dignity, self-express and community connection for our residents.”

Other members of the NCCH board have accepted positions to chair key focus areas. Janice Gusich, the current Vice Chairperson, will continue to serve as chair of the Resource Development and Marketing Committee. John Bartels and Michael Weingart will serve as co-chairs for the NCCH Mission Growth Committee. Neil Gavin will continue to chair the Governance Committee.

West stated, “After being in existence for over 38 years, as board members engage to provide new leadership, it allows the organization to maintain focus while generating new ideas and direction to help move us forward.” West added, “We want to continue to put focus on the residents, and how our efforts to provide quality housing does transform their lives.”

Throughout 2022, NCCH will look to further build community partnerships, and to enhance the visibility of North Coast Community Homes throughout Northeast Ohio.

NCCH also welcomed three new board members who will each serve a three-year term. These additions include Keith Burgess with Fifth Third Bank, Anthony Hill-McShepard of Hotcards, and Demetrius Williams with Beat the Streets Cleveland.
