Cuyahoga DD launched “Empower DD”, a podcast, to discuss navigating the developmental disability field, exploring new technologies, and hearing stories from people living, learning, working and playing in their community.
The first episode launched on Friday, October 30. This episode introduced the audience to the new TryTech Apartments, a joint venture between CCBDD and North Coast Community Homes. Guests included COO of North Coast Community Homes Karl Driggs, Cuyahoga DD's Housing Coordinator Candice Markle and Assistive Technology Specialist Michael Moats. The podcast discussion centered on the opportunity for individuals with disabilities to explore living more independently through the use of new technology.
