The adventure was worth the WILD for the over 200 participants who showed up for Race You Home 5k Run/1-Mile Stroll at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo on Sunday, August 6. This fundraising event supported the NCCH mission to provide quality housing and resources for individuals with disabilities and mental health challenges.

NCCH CEO & President Chris West offered, "In year two, we raised over $65,000. These dollars help to bridge the operational gap in funding necessary to ensure that we can provide a home that is physically safe and has the necessary resources so that a resident can be comfortable and live successfully in the home."

North Coast Community Homes serve over 600 residents living in 200 homes throughout Northeast Ohio. NCCH works with county agencies and care provider organizations to modify the homes to make them physically safe for the residents and their specific abilities.

West stated, "As an organization, our priority is the resident. We excel at providing safe homes that support our residents' physical, emotional, and social well-being. We strive to offer enhanced independence and a place they feel happy to call home."
