We’ve extended the early bird deadline to March 22!

The response from students has been great so far, with teams registering from over 50 different US and International Universities.

We’ve had interest from a variety of professionals, from both large national firms and smaller boutique organizations. We’re gratified to see so many individuals and organizations coalescing around the ZeroThreshold! With all of these talented individuals involved, we can make accessible housing more aesthetic and more common.

We’re excited Chris has agreed to be the keynote speaker for the September 19, 2019 Awards Event for ZeroThreshold. He has an amazing story, and an equally amazing insight into architecture and design.

Chris Downey’s work focuses on enriching the environment for the visually impaired. His projects, from rehabilitation to cultural centers, reflect his 20 years of traditional sighted architectural experience and ongoing practice since losing sight in 2008. Chris also serves on the California Commission on Disability Access, teaches at UC Berkeley, and speaks internationally
